There is no tomorrow.

Good morning everyone, I might be having a little setback on my tasks/targets for the week. My computer screen went bad this morning — quite strange as I still used it on Friday and only discovered when I got to the workspace I planned to use for the day. I will check if I can use it with my monitor when I get to the house but I wanted to give a heads up — will share updates this evening when I get home.

That was my message to my cofounders on the 7th April, 2025 — about 10days ago.

This morning, I woke up and couldn’t find my glasses which means I literally couldn’t do any work throughout the entire day because my eyes are super sensitive to light and I can’t stare at a computer screen with my naked eyes.

I was in the process of setting up our Apple developer account last night but due to slow response — I got sucked into doing coding work for xtrackr — a finance tool I am building with

with the assumption that I will get to it in the morning — after all it looked like a really small task.

That small task is still not done — it will be done in a couple of minutes from now cos Mary helped me find the glasses in the ‘odd’ location I hung it.

Moral lesson: don’t plan today’s work for tomorrow — you don’t have as much control over life as you would desire.

Footnotes: one of my goals this year is to generate passive income from writing — that’s why some of my writings will now seat behind a paywall. The format I have chosen is to make one free and the other walled. My last writing was behind a paywall that’s why this one is not — which means the next will be. Cheers!
